i was going to respond similarly to the schiavo debacle. i was planning on dropping quotes from collateral , specifically the one about the nameless who die in rwanda and our implications in their deaths for remaining silent/inactive, or alternately, quite vocal but for the wrong things, like the price of gas or who some guy named brad is/not sleeping with.
inasmuch as life can end with dignity, we should let it. inasmuch as life can be lived with dignity, we should do as much as we can to prolong it.

Thank you for your kind words and link to my lowly blog.
This whole Schiavo debacle was a true tragedy for America, and as much as I like to forgive different political views, I can’t help but feel that it was perpetrated by the right for disgusting gains.
One can only be satisfied with the fact that the fascists (and here I don’t mean Republicans, but, litterally, fascists) were unable to turn the country upside-down for a single cause.
But it still sickens me that right or left a human life was the fulcrum of this debate. We will soon live in a society where we can choose our fate and not leave it up to rich teleogogues to decide it for us. But in the meantime I pray that our (American) society can keep differentiate between law and theocracy.
