yup. it’s been a full month and then some since i had anything to say. you know the drill. it’s not that life isn’t happening. it’s just not “happening.” i’ve been doing stuff, but it’ll be awhile until i can get it here. face it, i’ve only got two days a week and today isn’t yours!
but, if you want a bullet list to tide you over:
- played in the leaves with my rambunctious nephew. (i love autumn)
- went to a friend’s (E&JS) annual halloween extravaganza. details may be forthcoming.
- dealing with some stuff my brother dumped in my lap.
- had a great time at pal D(g)’s place. (but. . . .) in any case, katamari damanci is an intriguing diversion. see, it has a devoted devoted fanbase:

great book & well thought out, and thought provoking. hard-hitting in its reasoned undressing of the unreason of religion be it christian, jewish or islamic. it gets a little wobbly towards the end, but that may be this reader’s error. perhaps i’ll do a write-up. but not now.
been doing some other exploring, but that probably won’t go here–it’s just none of your business.
