yeah, so it’s been a long time since i’ve posted anything. i’m still in shock over the election and the resulting tumult to post anything of substance.

well, that’s only partly true. what’s more true is that i’ve been hard-pressed to spell out what it is i want to say without sounding preachy, or condecending, or boring or pious. yes, agnostic/athiest/sane people can be pious, too. have you ever talked to a prius owner? is that how that car got named?

so instead of a real post about why i’m no longer a christian, i point to bertrand russell’s essay, “why i’m not a christian.” he said it better anyway.

perhaps over the next few weeks i’ll post short, punchy bits of relevant books i’ve read over the last few months as i researched my current point of view.
