How ’bout some salvation with that Sentra?

Posted on Sunday 26 August 2007

Jack Chick tracts are one thing, but this is targeted marketing to a whole new level:

Doesn’t he know that price is the mark of the beast–upside down?!

In the words of the friend who sent this to me:

You never know what you’ll find in The Auto Trader Magazines -
Cars, trucks, boats, salvation…
–KCK

Indeed.

The next day, she continues:

. . . I’m pretty sure it ran,
why wouldn’t it?
I think we should pray…
Dear Lord, please protect us from the fanatics and all that is holy. Also, I
need a new car, preferably a Nissan Sentra, could you help me out?
Amen!

p.s. can i get it in pink with lots of crosses and hearts all over it?

Of course it ran! It’s also hanging up on the dry erase board, right next to the “DrezZ Corp Productionz” ad (who “Does Ad’s for CHEAP!!!”) and a photo of a Blazer that’s been lowered to the point where its ground effects kit is in contact with the asphalt.

Incident’ly, here are the referenced verses if your readership is a bunch of lazy bastards who can’t be bothered:

John 3:14: And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up.

1 Timothy 2:5: For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:39: Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

    (KJV version, natch.)

re “DrezZ, etc.”: That thing’s still on the whiteboard? Are they serious!?

re the Salvation Sentra:I wonder if the crosses made it sell any better? Would an FSM F150 get as many takers?
